Parallels Desktop Users Please Help

November 30

I have a 2.0ghz MacBook running Snow Leopard and the latest version of Parallels Desktop. I'm trying to install Microsoft Office 2007 on my Windows 7 installation. After putting in the validation code and telling it to run setup, I get something about not being able to find something in the setup file... Has anyone had any experience with this?

Perhaps you don't understand that VM software like Parallels is like running Windows on a Windows machine. As long as you don't have a problem with Parallels, then the problem is with Windows when you are using the Windows VM. If Windows has a problem it's not OS X.
So rather than arguing with me over this take my advice: post your problem in the Parallels forums and in the Windows forum here. This forum is not the proper venue for your problem unless you've misstated the problem, and it is a problem with Parallels and not with Windows running within the VM.
As I said at the beginning there are two good places for posting your problem. Take advantage of them.
