Invisible Audio Unit menu names.

I'm not sure when or how this happened, but somehow all of the names of the Audio Units, both effects and instruments, plug-ins and otherwise have become invisible in the menu. They're still there, and usable, but it's very annoying. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about:

I've tried the usual remedies (Repair disk permissions, deleting preferences, removing components) and nothing so far has worked. Any ideas?

Dylan,
Does it behave the same way in another OS X user account? Try removing the Caches folder from /Library and from /Users/yourname/Library/, then restart and test GarageBand.
If that does not resolve it, I would then try removing and reinstalling GarageBand from your original disks.
Hope this helps,
AppleGuy
